If you hang out with the likes of Kyp Malone (TV on the Radio) and the Grizzly Bear guys, chances are you’re gonna have some pretty good musical inspiration. Maybe that’s the case for Brooklyn’s Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, or maybe he gets his inspiration from crazy Uncle Jack (Daniels). Regardless, Robinson has found his muse, and it has resulted in some pretty incredible music.
Due out July 1st, Robinson’s self-titled LP was recorded by Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor and features appearances by Malone, Chris Bear, and Daniel Rossen. The star of the show is Buriedfed, the kind of song that makes you google someone you’ve never heard of before.
Enjoy Buriedfed and The Debtor, and check out Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson on Say Hey records July 1st. Robinson will also be touring with White Rabbits this month – check his myspace for tour dates.
